A family business, not a franchise
Rafael and Andreia Campos started Sherlock Holmes Cleaning by disinfecting businesses through the pandemic, then built the crew and the equipment the Cape actually needs.
What began with commercial disinfection turned into carpet extraction machines, upholstery tools, power washing rigs and drying equipment. Today the same family runs the company, and the crews you meet are employees, not subcontractors passing through.

No surprises, on either side
Most complaints about cleaning companies come down to the same thing: nobody agreed what was included. We handle that before anyone picks up a cloth.
Tell us about the space
Call or send the form. We ask what the room is, how big and how often.
Get a written estimate
A real number, in writing, with what is and is not included. No obligation.
Pick a time that works

We clean, you check

What our customers say
Salt, sand and a season that ends
Sand is abrasive, not just dirt
Beach sand is quartz, harder than carpet fibre. Every grain that reaches the base of the pile cuts it a little more with each step. That is why a Cape carpet can be spotless and still look worn.
Salt air holds moisture
Salt is hygroscopic: it pulls water out of the air and keeps surfaces slightly damp. Left in glass, carpet backing or upholstery it clouds, stiffens and invites mildew, so it has to be rinsed out rather than wiped over.
A season compresses the work
A rental takes a year of wear between June and September, then sits closed. Turnovers, closing cleans and opening cleans all have deadlines that do not move, which is why scheduling matters as much as the cleaning.
About the company
Frequently asked questions
Are your crews employees or subcontractors?
Employees. They are insured under the company, background-checked before they start, and on recurring work you see the same people each visit.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. Proof of insurance is available on request, and we send it to property managers and commercial clients as a matter of course.
Do I have to be home?
No, and most customers are not. We work with lockboxes, codes and keys, all logged and handled by the same crew.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Yes, everything. If a surface in your home needs a specific product, leave it out and tell us and we will use it.
How do I get a price?
Tell us what the space looks like and you get a real number back in writing, before anyone books a visit. No sales appointment unless you ask for one.
